Just some crazy thoughts....

Ahhh-choo!!

-waves hand in front my nose-

Gosh, so much dust here. -coughs- Nobody's blogging. -.-""

Anyway, I'm so bored, and thus an entry. =)

That day I was shopping with my mom, and once again, I just wished that those aunties would not wear what they are not supposed to wear. There's some unknown guideline but some just don't follow!! I tell you, it's damm paiseh to go out and realise you got the same top/skirt/shoes/bag/whatever as an auntie on street. If that ever happens to me, God bless, please don't let it ever happen, I will faint on the spot.

yea, people are most prob going what's the fuss with wearing the same as an auntie? Hell, it's traumatising kies. Just goes to show how fashionable you are and that auntie is. -sniggers- WE are supposed to have more fashion sense. Suppose, yea, I SUPPOSE in a way, it's kinda a big word. Oh wells. -shrugs-

It's tiring when you go shopping and before looking at the price, before deciding whether you like the design, you need to go "Gosh, I have seen that on my neighbour." (who happens to be a 50 plus, all wrinkled woman)

It certainly isn't very encouraging when every other shop is selling similar designs. (Oh you know how Singapore is, the clothes are almost the same. >.<") So I was thinking, how nice it would be if there's an age limit to what clothes you can buy. =)

Before you start going "What a stupid thought", please look at the title of the post. Do you really think that I THINK that this idea's gonna be feasible? I would like to think I have more brains than you, loser. -sneers-

Fine, back to the sweet and a little crazy me. ^^

Now where am I? yepps, age limit. You know, like they have NC-16, M-18, R-21 movies, then before the person purchase the piece of clothing, you can check the IC also!! Now, I know that the streets are totally safe to strut around in heels, mini-skirt, a halter, knowing that there's ZERO possibility that the next corner I turn, there would be an auntie in the same get-up.

-grins- Wouldn't that be just great?!!

Of course, besides it applying to just tops, it can also be applied to any article that's worn. Or carried.

Oh wells, just another senseless post by me.

oh! my life again!

remembered my previous entry? the one that i blogged about how sad... and boring my life was?? surprisingly, things have changed; totally changed.

there's this very strong fire of optimism and hope burning in my heart right now + recently, spreading motivation and encouragement all over myself.. and even to my classmates. for the next few weeks i'll be very very busy with my studio project ( while the rest are enjoying holidays.. what the hell.. ). at first i 'welcomed' it with a very sian attitude. but somehow.. i feel very excited about it now! i'm actually looking forward to the end of this project ( which will end at around the end of september.. )

perhaps it's because i took a picture with fiona xie last friday ( refer to my blog for details ).. and perhaps it's because of the series of fortunate events that this precious photo of mine led to ( which i don't want to say.. heheh.. don't ask.. 'cause i won't speak a word about it ).

whenever i'm alone, you may see me smiling to the air. please don't treat me like a mad person.

it's a really wonderful and great feeling, i'm gonna treasure it for as long as i can. =D

ok i'm like blogging for 'nothing'. but seriously i'm really in ultra good mood during these few days.. so please don't spoil my mood ah.

k here's my oxymoron: anticipated surprise

The Star Spangled Bummer

Im sure everyone knows of what happened up in the land of the free, or at least in New Orleans. If you have been living in a hole or don't care about world events (You're so going to fail your GP~ if you're in JC) a few days ago a hurricane (it's named Katrina, dont ask me why) took a little trip down there and totally blew everything up. Being under sea level (What insane people would build huge cities which are below sea level protected by levees? Oh wait~ Americans) when the levee burst (or broke) You can guess what happened. Now 80+% of the city is underwater and a picture in the newspaper showed flooding so bad that you could only see the TOP of lamp posts above the water and people huddled helpless on the roofs of high rise buildings.

The true horrors were yet to surface. The people themselves. With no food, no power and no supplies, desperate people began looting stores. And the police even when given power by the mayor couldn't do a thing. Interfere and get killed. (Remember, it is legal to own weapons~ and if you dont own one, you can always loot one from an abandoned store) Chaos reigns, no one dares to help, even rescue helicopters dare not land. People actually opened fire on the people coming to help them so much so he army was involved under the guise of "rescue efforts" (to me)

But beneath all that. Look at the rescue pictures in the papers, you see policemen carrying people to safety, you see looters and such nothing amiss? Look closer. Im not trying to be racist, or start a fight. But it's true and everyone knows it, just no one is willing so speak out. They are saving the wealthy and the whites first (if the wealthy hadn't already left when they heard it coming) leaving the poor and -the African Americans. Obviously this is some DAMNNED kind of discrimination! No wonder they open fire on rescuers, loot stores and are an angry people. It's a matter of survival now- and at this crucial time your skin color still matters?! You can't tell how pissed I am over this I dare say this disaster will be worse then the Dec 26 tsunami simply because of the discrimination.

The bias is sickening. It's there, but no one says it. What freedom is this America? Forget it, these are the signs~ the end is near! Haha- Singapore is just such a lucky place. You can stop complaining and be glad you are alive. I am. Lets round off with some lyrics.

[Stand] by Jewel

Walk in a corner shop
See a shoplifting cop
See the old lady with a gun
See the hero try 2 run
Nothing's what it seems, I mean
It's not all dirty, but it's not all clean
There's children paying bills
There's monks buying thrills
There's pride for sale in magazines
There's pills for rent 2 make u clean
Marvin Gaye, there's no brother, brother
Woody Guthrie's land can't feed Mother

Mothers weep, children sleep
So much violence ends in silence
It's a shame there's no one 2 blame
For all the pain that life brings
If u will just take me It might just complete me
And together we can make a stand

A waitress brings me lunch
We meet but do not touch
On TV, D.C. is selling lies
While in the corner, King's dream dies
Go 2 the counter, pay for me and my friend
A homeless man pulls out a roll, says it's on him
The mayor has no cash
He said he spent it on hookers and hash

Mothers weep, children sleep
So much violence ends in silence
It's a shame there's no one 2 blame
For all the pain that life brings
If u will just take me It might just complete me
And together we can make a stand

U will love me, I will love u

Mothers weep, children sleep
So much violence ends in silence
It's a shame there's no one 2 blame
For all the pain that life brings
If u will just take me It might just complete me
And together we can make a stand
